What we collect

• Messages you send us through the Contact page or the Feedback button (via Formspree): whatever you type, typically a message and, optionally, a name and email address.
• Live watchlist data shown to all visitors (tickers, prices, % change, scores) is not personal data. It is market data relayed through our Firebase database.
• Usage and device information collected automatically when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from the IP address, pages viewed, and how you interact with the page (clicks, scrolling). This is collected by our hosting provider (GitHub Pages), by Google Analytics, and by Microsoft Clarity, described below.
• Advertising data. We plan to show ads through Google AdSense. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may collect cookie identifiers and similar data to serve and measure ads, as described in the Advertising section below.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not ask you to create an account.

Why we collect it

To operate the Site (serve the live feed), understand how the Site is used and improve it, respond to messages you send us, show advertising that helps pay for the Site, and detect abuse. We do not use your data to make individualized trading recommendations.

Third-party services

• GitHub Pages hosts this website and may keep standard server logs.
• Firebase Realtime Database (Google) relays the live watchlist feed to your browser.
• Formspree processes messages submitted through our contact and feedback forms.
• Google Analytics measures traffic and usage of the Site (which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use).
• Microsoft Clarity provides usage analytics such as heatmaps and session recordings of how visitors interact with the page, to help us find usability problems. Clarity is subject to the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Google AdSense may serve advertising on the Site (see below).

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site and our third-party services use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) for three purposes. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you give your consent through the consent message shown on the Site, where the law requires it, and we do not load Microsoft Clarity for visitors whose device is set to a European time zone.

• Functional. Your browser's local storage remembers your own preferences on this device: whether sound is on, how you sorted the list, tickers you starred. This information stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
• Analytics. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies or similar identifiers to measure how the Site is used.
• Advertising. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site's live feed will still work, though some preferences may not be remembered.

Advertising

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. • You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• You can use your browser's cookie controls or "Do Not Track"/tracking-protection features, though not every service honours them.

Retention

Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond and are deleted periodically afterwards. Analytics and advertising data are retained by the respective providers according to their own retention settings. We do not build individual visitor profiles.

Children

This Site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
